(Mercer, PA May 21, 2016): A cold and steady rain settled in over Mercer Raceway Park during the night and continued throughout the day, leading to the fourth consecutive cancellation of racing. The Rick’s Truck & Equipment Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series heads to the speedway on May 28, along with several other classes. Racing will start at 5:30, using the new, two-tiered approach. Then, Sunday May 29, fans will experience the sound and fury of the All American Spring Nationals! It will be the opening event for the Truck and Tractor Pulling enthusiasts. The Full Pull Production will be presented by Ritenour Equipment Co., of Butler.
Please note that the Elder Tractor Sales & Service Junior Sprints, the Rock Concrete Supply Modified Lites, and the Eperthener’s Auto Wrecking and Ray’s Racing Collectibles Mini Stocks have been added to the May 28 program. With the Bonnell’s Rod Shop Outlaw Sprint Warriors, Approved Toilet Rentals 358 Modifieds, and Precise Racing Products Open Stocks already on the card, fans will get to see seven divisions in action, weather permitting, of course. Racing will start at 5:30, with the Junior Sprints, Mini Stocks, and Modified Lites kicking things off. The BOSS Sprints and the remaining classes will begin at 7 p.m.
The pit gates will open at 4, and spectator gates at 4:30.
The adult tickets will be just $15 for this action-packed event. Seniors (60+) will be admitted for $13, and students (9-15) for $7. Children (8 and under) will be free. The Family Pass will be $32, which is quite the bargain for two adults and up to four minors of any age. The Pit Passes will be $30.
