(Mercer, PA January 7, 2017): Once again, Mercer Raceway Park will kick off the racing season with the annual Jack Frost 150, on Saturday, March 18. “The enduro is a really fun event,” said track owner Bill Altman. “The cars are very affordable because they are street machines with modifications to enhance the safety on the speedway,” he explained. “And, many of the drivers are race fans who want to experience the thrill of competing on their favorite track. But the event is also open to experienced racers, too, so there is always a mix of skill levels, and that adds to the excitement.”
Participants can enter now by submitting the entry blank, which is available here.
Or, entry blanks can be obtained by calling the track office at 724-662-1310.
Remember that the starting order for the race will be determined by the order in which the entry blanks are received. So, competitors are encouraged to get the entry blanks in as soon as possible to secure a prime starting spot.
The day will start with an open practice session. Racers in any class will be allowed to shake down their cars to get ready for the 2017 racing season.
“We are planning some other fun for the day,” Altman said. “When plans are finalized, we will make an announcement.”
