(Mercer, PA March 16, 2017): Due to the recent snowfall and the forecast of more wintery weather for the weekend, Mercer Raceway Park must postpone the racing activities set for this Saturday, March 18. As a result, some schedule changes have been made. Weather permitting, the 2017 opener will be the Chiller Thriller for the BRP Modified Tour and the track’s 358 Modifieds. That will be held Saturday, March 25, Then the speedway will be back in action on Sunday, March 26, with the Jack Frost Enduro, Snowflake 25, and an open practice session. If that weekend should fail due to adverse weather conditions, the events will be pushed back a week to April 1 and 2, respectively.
