Mercer, PA July 1, 2017): With standing water on the speedway, and the potential for even more moisture coming through afternoon thunderstorms, officials from Mercer Raceway Park and the Patriot Sprint Tour have canceled the races for July 1. This has caused some schedule changes. The Patriots will return on August 26, courtesy of Bonnell’s Collision Center. The fireworks presented by Pizza Joe’s will be pushed back to July 15, along with a Saturday Night Live! racing event. Remember that on July 8 Mercer Raceway Park will be closed.
