(Mercer, PA July 5, 2017): This Saturday, July 8, Mercer Raceway Park will be closed for the summer vacation. “Racers and staff will get a needed break, so they can come back ready for the stretch run,” said track owner Bill Altman. “We will be returning to action the following Saturday, July 15, with the fireworks courtesy of Pizza Joe’s.” The racing will feature the five fabulous weekly divisions that comprise our Saturday Night Live! events. In addition, that night will be the Amercian Cancer Society Racing for a Cure! night at the speedway.
Then, on Saturday, July 22, the speedway will preview the Little Guys Nationals! On July 29, the children will get to race their bicycles on the frontstretch. Ray’s Racing Collectibles will make that night possible.
